A blog for all things copywriting, and more... |
![]() Today, I did the first live video I’ve ever done. I challenged myself to get out of my comfort zone and that was the best way I could think of. No chance to edit later, no time to stop talking. Just straight out with what I wanted to say. I picked the theme of new beginnings, and the uncertainty that is common to all of them. Nerves And that in itself has had a lot of emotions attached to it. I’ve had to push forward every single day, and there’s always resistance. Every single time I do something, even a single social media post, I hesitate and worry. What people will think, how many people will see it, whether it’s worth it… All this going round and round in my mind. So I had to take massive action – do it and get used to it. Over and over again. Because the best reaction, is action. Winning With Words And part of that is building my first small product for Rob Moore’s Make Cash Challenge. I’ve had to pull out all the stops to do this, just as I intended. It’s called 21 Ways To Win With Words, and it’s all about persuading people to listen to you, and invest in what you offer. Whether that’s an opinion, a skill, a product, or a service – because we can all be better at this, and I want to help you do just that. Now, I’ve never sold online, so I wanted to make sure I put together something really useful, that was worth me getting over myself to promote. And something that people would actually think was worth making the purchase. So I’ve made sure it’s detailed and thorough, but also clear and concise. It’s a fine balance, but I do believe I’ve struck it, and I can’t wait for the feedback when it launches properly next week.
